    I loved the 53 ideas that were presented as alternative formative assessments (AFAs) on this page as they were easy to do and would certainly provide the teacher with an immediate glimpse into student understanding. The PDF file that you can get from this page is a great 2 pager that can be printed and kept by the teacher desk as a reminder of various types of AFAs to incorporate during your lesson planning.
