Another blog article, published on FluentU.com which outlines the advantages of integrating technology in the ESL classroom. I found this resource particularly helpful because it lists Phone/tablet applications that can be used in the classroom. Many times, students may ask what applications can be used remotely to practice during their own time - this article lists all of the applications worth downloading!

A comprehensive list of ESL-based technology software that can be used in the classroom and remotely. I like this resource because past users have provided ratings and detailed commentary about the effectiveness of each application/website/software that is listed. I would highly recommend checking out http://www.real-english.com/. This website is a highly-functioning media database which contains over 50 videos (lessons) of English conversations. The lessons are divided by level of difficulty.

One of my personal favorite applications to use (personal use) and in the classroom. Quizlet is an app that is available on Google Play and the App Store, it is free and also available on a regular desktop. It is an interactive study website which provides a number of activities that aide with the acquisition and retention of knowledge. I have found that it is especially great for language learners.
