Learning the REAL way: Using Realia in the Classroom

ESL teachers may think of ways of making teaching and learning an engaging and highly-personal experience for their students. Educators have found that the use of realia- or real-world objects makes learning easier for ESL students who are kinesthetic/visual learners. Realia does not have to be limited to the use of food and drink. This collection explores the concept of realia in the classroom and provides a list of possible activities/lesson plans.
