Collaborating with your colleagues is an important and necessary function of education. As an admin, I participated in our PLC with my counterparts at three other schools. We had a total group of four administrators in my PLC. This was an invaluable experience which allowed me to grow professionally and collaborate with my admin team.
Developing and understanding my own professional education trajectory was not difficult. Some warned me of the transition from teacher leadership to school leadership. However, I had access to a number of resources that allowed me to be successful. This resource is helpful for all principals and assistant principals.
