I'm a sucker for lists and this one is no exception. Since I already need to work on balance, I like that this article is short which leaves me more time to devote to other areas. I recommend typing up these 10 tips and keeping them somewhere where you will see them as a reminder each day.
Once I finished the video on Work-Life Balance for Teachers, I wanted more from the makers of Educate to Elevate. This podcast was another motivating and encouraging video to see during some of my most stressful times as a teacher. It helped me remember why I was teaching and encouraged me to find the inner strength to keep going.
Have you lost some of your teaching spark? I know that after the first few weeks of school, I was coasting on fumes. Luckily, I stumbled upon this video one night, and it really gave me that extra boost I was needing, especially since I don't drink coffee!
I love the Teach Love Life book, and I recommend taking a look at this quick video to see what it is all about. Reading is something that helps me relax and maintain balance, but I know that is not the case for everyone. However, this great book is available on audio so you can play it on your way to work or while you soak in a bath. Either way, I think you will find the tips helpful.
This post provides a handful of links to some of the most helpful articles out there on teacher work life balance. I really appreciate that each link has a detailed summary of what the article is about, which saves time if you only want to read certain topics. However, I read them all, and I believe they have great tips to offer teachers in maintaining a better balance between work and home life.
