School Culture, Positivity, Kindess, and Gratitude

This is an excellent site in that it has lesson plans, a short educational documentary on gratitude, printable gratitude coupons and more. A most valuable part is that it breaks down, by age level, child development as it pertains to character development

A blog post from the blog "The Mindful Classroom" on kindness. Includes a bulleted list of mentor texts to be used in the classroom-many of these are in most well stocked school libraries but may be overlooked. All, of course, are on Amazon and are great additions to teacher wishlists for parents to purchase.

A link to resources that go along with the excellent book by Tom Rath "How Full is Your Bucket". The book talks about filling other's invisible buckets and not being a bucket "dipper". Powerful tool and resources for whole school or individual classrooms!

Children's book author Jarrett Krosoczka talks about the power of a thank you in schools and how lunch workers can be a vital part of creating a culture of gratitude in schools.
