Empowered Girls is a collection of sites that are entirely girl focused, often ad-free, and created by girls themselves. These sites put girls in positions where they can show their love of science and smarts.

    The New MacGuyver is a website to watch for new storylines, apps, TV, or other multimedia specifically directed to girls, engineering, and innovation. Even the concept of this show, and introducing it to students to "create" and "pitch" their own show about engineering with a female protagonist is an inspired assignment for any middle school teacher.
