Teaching English to Young Learners - The Younger The Better?

Due to the worldwide spread of early English, recent discussions have shifted from “the younger the better” to “how good young learners are”. The resources in this collection are a good starting point for all those teachers who teach young learners and who are willing to help them acquire language in an innovative and fun way. In this collection I also shared with you a book on this topic, an ultimate resource and I am proud to be one of its authors among 50 teachers around the world.

This is my favorite resource in this collection. The book is the direct result of a year-long project called ‘Investigating Global Practices in Teaching English to Young Learners’. I am very proud to be among 50 authors who contributed to this book adding activities 'Make a SpongeBob' (page 47) and 'Wordle Prediction' (page 102). I am quite sure you will find most of the activities rather useful for you language activities with the little ones.
