This is an excellent resource to use as a pre-reading activity for The Great Gatsby. Done wholly online, students use the internet to research information and answer questions about F.Scott Fitzgerald and the time period in which The Great Gatsby is set.
One of my favorite aspects to teach in The Great Gatsby is the use of color imagery. This unit not only provides tools to teach that literary element, but also provides a number of resources that highlight connotation and character analysis as they pertain to Gatsby.
