In the 21st Century, it is important that students think more creatively and critically about the workforce. They need to be innovators who "learn by doing". Innovation lets students develop problem-solving and reasoning skills.

    BetterLesson partnered with outstanding educators across the country to run Master Teacher Projects and create over 16,000 rich lessons, covering: Next Generation Science Standards, Math, Blended Learning, and Reading and Language Arts. Educators’ schools can receive professional development training through Teach Cycle. Often, I visit this site to use highly effective teachers plan. They provide all resources and materials which makes my life much easier.

    Epals is a website that engages students in global awareness. Classes can connect with other classes around the globe. Also, there are resources for educators to use in their classroom. To assist me with the site, I joined the "Jumpstart" group so they could help me learn more about the site.

    Linda Darling-Hammond is an inspirational leader. Often, she discusses what is happening educationally around the globe. In this video, she will discuss students performance as it relates to assessments. I have seen her speak at conferences before and love how she discusses global perspectives.     The NEA Foundation supports educators creativy and innovative classroom approaches designed to prepare students for college, work, and life. Each year, Global Fellows are selected from their NEA Foundation Teacher Excellence Award. These educators are selected by their local union. Global Fellows go out of the country to experience global awareness. When the fellows return, they create global lessons. The NEA Foundation is a great organization that values educators and students.
