Flexibility in teaching Science in a Multigrade Class
  • Suzzanne McLean says:
This video presentation presents an outstanding way in which a science multigrade class should operate. Students were very receptive to the way the teacher explained the concepts using hands-on material to make the lesson simple for the students to understand. When teaching a science multigrade class, the teacher will teach the general concepts and then based on their different levels, the students are grouped for their different instructions. You can try modeling this style of teaching!

I was excited to know that science does have to be drowned with just talking and explaining. I can recall using my science lessons to create poems, songs and rhymes and students were able to use their creativity. This site gives a step-by-step guide in creating rhymes from science lessons. I must say that the students will be delighted to learn this new approach.
